Brush and easel, ready to start
Canvas white, now you just need the heart
To lay on some beautiful colours.
Darkest visions, moments of joy,
memories fading out, but do not destroy
The sweet dream of finding your own way.

Painting black is easy
You define your world with every stroke,
Just seeing dark 's too lazy
Dont concentrate on love affairs that broke,
You paint, therefore you are,

Just using black is boring
You don't need any skill to shade out life
There`s no sense in ignoring
That you need more colours to survive.
A rainbow 's rising out of your paint box, life's a piece of art.

Painting passions, in dark red or blue,
Any colour fits as long as its true,
paint your scars as light as a feather,
Freezing time and reshaping space,
Natures laws are overruled for a while,
you decide, how things fit together.

And when there's no light while crossing the border,
caught in a spiral of your own breakdown,
Just paint like a child for the first time!
