From the recording I'm sorry, I love you
Peter Hensen, Drums
Alex Linster, Bass
Hartmut Frost, Akustik Gitarren (6 und 12 Saiter)
Zur Kernmanschaft von Groenalund gehören:
Mabel Winkler, Sopran
Sarah Schumacher, Sopran
Karolin Biewald, Mezzosopran
und
Martin Gerke,
Komposition, Produktion,
Wurlitzer, Synthesizer, E-Gitarren, Glockenspiel
Der Text stammt von Martin Gerke und Dave Simmons
After the re-formation of the band, this is our first video, which this time was created very spontaneously and without a script.
The song is about a woman who is used to non-binding relationships.
But this time its different.
After "I want you back" showed the more melancholic side of Groenalund, this is now euphoric bubblegum pop in the best sense.
We thank all the musicians who worked on this song with Groenalund.
Lyrics
I´m sorry, I love you
I can´t stand it,
All those lonley nights,
Is there noone to hold me?
Reading faces,
starring at their phones,
Is there someone wo sees me?
I just met him yesterday
In that nightclub down the boulevard,
And we both left the dancefloor ,
´cos we wanted more.
I´m sorry, I love you,
I don´t feel ashamed cause,
this is not the game that I used to play,
I´m burning, I´m dancing,
Seducing you now,
I never thought that I could feel this way again.
I´m sorry, I love you,
You´re feeding my flame,
and this is not the same as it used to be,
I´m smiling, I´m laughing,
There is no excuse,
the only way out of hell is to meet again,
One day later,
back to my routine,
I imagine his kind face.
Will he call me?
Starring at my phone,
I´m caught up in a daydream.
I just met him two days ago
In that nightclub down the boulevard,
And we both left the dancefloor ,
´cos we wanted more.
How can I be sure, that he is the one?
Should I call, should i wait, (or) should I run?
